SPF Wizard

The SPF Wizard generates 'Sender Policy Framework' DNS TXT, or caller id records suitable for adding to your dns zone files. These records should work with most dns services that accept TXT or SPF type records.

Simply answer the questions below to create your SPF record and press the 'Generate SPF record' to see what needs to be added to your zone file. The generated record will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

Use this option is this domain if not email is sent from this domain.

 

Mail for this domain is sent via Cloudfloors mail servers

If you use our mail servers for outgoing email, select this option. This applies to the Mailscan, hosted email, hosted Exchange, and mail forwarding services.

 

Include MX records

Most MX records should be included. Even if you do not send email from your MX records, the servers are likely secure and may be used to send NDR's using your domain name.

 

Include names of any other hosts that send email for your domain

Enter the names of any other hosts that send mail for your domain, e.g. mail.anotherhost.com, one per line

 

Include IP addresses of any other hosts that send email for your domain

Enter the IP addresses or ranges of IP addresses using CIDR notation here, one per line. e.g. 192.168.1.0/24

 

Details of other domains that send email for your domain

Does mail for your domain also get sent by another domain on your behalf, e.g. your ISP? If so, and that domain has a published SPF record, please enter the name of the domain here.
